LC Trained Field Service Technician

Integrated Service Solutions, Inc. is an ISO 9001:2008 registered company with an ISO/IEC 17025:2005 accredited Metrology Lab that has a demonstrated ability to perform specific calibration tests. The company provides a single source solution to leading pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device companies throughout the country.

We are currently recruiting for a motivated, full-time, experienced Analytical Field Services Specialist specifically with Agilent LC experience in the pharmaceutical and/or biotechnology industry. A background in GMP environments is required as is familiarity with ISO quality systems. Must have a demonstrated background and hands on experience in providing routine preventive and corrective maintenance as well as qualifications on a broad range of analytical instrumentation.

Frequent and daily travel is a requirement of this position.

Responsibilities:

Provide field calibration/qualification, validation and repair services on a broad range of analytical equipment such as Agilent. Waters and Shimadzu a plus
Ability to follow established quality procedures and customer requirements
Provide technical assistance to customers and internal support staff
Comply with quality system objectives

Qualifications:

The successful candidate must have demonstrated background in delivering field services for LC and Dissolution from various analytical vendors. Titrator, Total Organic Carbon Analysis and Particle Analyzer experience is a plus.

Excellent communication skills, strong troubleshooting experience and a hands-on approach to analytical instrumentation is required.
Ability to maintain accuracy and high energy in a fast-paced environment.
PC skills include Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) are mandatory.
Ability to learn Access and other proprietary software will be required.
Demonstrated experience working in an ISO quality system.

Education:

Science or Chemistry Degree combined with a minimum of 5 years of related industry experience.

Must have and maintain reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, clean driving record and be able to pass a drug/background check. Proof of car insurance is required.
