FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN
Daily travel to/from customer sites is a requirement of this position
We are recruiting for an experienced Field Service Technician.
Job Summary:
This position provides daily customer support activities at client sites throughout the mid-Atlantic area. Calibrate, repair and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and mechanical laboratory equipment and instrumentation used in the life sciences and other regulated industry.

The following is a partial list of process lab equipment and related technical equipment used in life science industries that you will be working on:
- Broad range of Lab Equipment including Pipettes, Thermometers, Gauges, Recorders, Meters, Ovens, Refrigerators, Freezers, Incubators, Centrifuges Fermenters, Autoclaves, Lyos, and more.
Here’s the typical skills you need to be successful:
- Great communication, analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Demonstrated mechanical ability and knowledge of a broad spectrum of test and measurement equipment
- Computer abilities; Microsoft office
- Ability to provide incredible customer service
- Organizational abilities with a high attention to detail and be skilled at juggling a variety of tasks under tight deadlines
- Capabilities to work in a fast-paced environment
Experience:
Candidates should have at least an Associate’s Degree, technical training and/or 3 years of demonstrated experience or a combination of both. We are looking for someone who understands what it’s like working as a field technician, traveling daily from customer site to customer site.
Must have and maintain:

Requirements:
You will work independently and/or as part of a team servicing equipment at various customer locations so daily travel is a requirement of this position. Technicians may use both specialized and standard computer applications in performance of their job duties. Assignments will include handling or maintaining equipment or operation of equipment. Must be able to stand, sit or kneel for long periods and climb ladders (6 ft. minimum). Various additional duties and/or travel as assigned.
