Manny joined Integrated Service Solutions, Inc. in 2003 bringing more than 25 years of technical experience in field engineering support, metrology lab development and management, as well as quality system development and implementation. His first milestone was to obtain ISO 9001:2008 registration for the Company. His vast experience positioned us well to achieve this impressive registration by Underwriter’s Laboratories. In addition, he was instrumental in earning A2LA 17025 accreditation for our various metrology laboratory practices including mass, volume and humidity. While A2LA accreditation is not mandatory in the United States, it has become more common place and provides our clients with the reassurance that our laboratory is operating within the parameters of this recognized standard.

Manny’s career began in the United States Army serving as a noncommissioned officer in both ARRADCOM Nuclear Research and Development Laboratories and deployed calibration service centers (PMEL). From 1986 to 1990 he was a Test Methods Engineer for General Electric where he developed Metrology & Engineering solutions for the Aegis Weapon System. Following that, he served as a Regional Service Manager for Transcat Calibration Laboratories in the Northeast for over a decade. There, he provided senior management with operational support while implementing both ISO9000 Registration & A2LA Certified Laboratory Accreditation to new and existing locations. His experience also includes a role at Hilton Engineering as General Manager, where he implemented a UL certified ISO 9000:2000 Quality System supporting over 100 GMP-Compliant Pharmaceutical Plants. As a Quality Consultant, he has developed and implemented Quality Management Systems and the associated documentation for numerous ISO registered company, as well as for GXP/ICH compliant firms. Manny is a member of multiple professional organizations including the PA, New Jersey and Puerto Rico Chapter’s of the Instrumentation, Systems & Automation Society (ISA), and ASQ.
